A farmer can choose to operate completely independently, while purchasing supplies such as swine genetics or feed (or both) from Puratone and put the skills of Puratone’s technical experts to work on their farm.
He or she can also choose to make marketing arrangements through Puratone and gain the value of the company’s established relationships with numerous packers.
A producer can also enter into a complete arrangement with Puratone to raise hogs on a contract basis while the company retains ownership of the animals.
